Candle Care, Tips and Questions

WHAT IS THE RIGHT WAY TO BURN MY CANDLE?

ON THE FIRST BURN:

  • ALLOW THE MELT POOL TO REACH THE EDGE OF THE CONTAINER TO PREVENT TUNNELING AND ACHIEVE OPTIMAL FRAGRANCE THROW.

AFTER THE FIRST BURN:

  • TRIM THE WICK TO 1/4" EACH TIME YOU BURN YOUR CANDLE TO PREVENT THE SIDES OF THE CONTAINER FROM TURNING BLACK.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A NATURAL SOY WAX CANDLE

VS. OTHER WAX?

NOT ALL CANDLE WAX IS THE SAME:

  • SOY WAX IS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY.

  • It burns more slowly which means a longer lasting candle than other waxes.

  • Soy burns cleaner, resulting in less soot.

What you might see with natural sox wax candles:

  • Soy expands and contracts which may result in the wax not adhering to the side  of the candle.  This    is normal and does not affect the candle performance.

  • Soy wax candles sometimes look imperfect - this is the result of using a natural product!

HOW DO I SAFELY BURN MY CANDLE?

Never leave your candle unattended:

  • Always burn your candle on a level surface.

  • Burn no more than 4 hours at a time.

  • Do not touch the container when lit, it will be hot!

  • Keep the candle away from pets, children, fans, open windows, flammable objects or surfaces.

  • Stop using your candle when 1/2" to 1/4" wax remains,

WHAT DO I DO WITH THE CONTAINER WHEN IT BURNS DOWN TO

1/2" TO 1/4"?

The candle containers  are reusable!

  • When cool, carefully remove the label      and gently remove the remaining wax and wick.

  • Wash the container in warm, soapy water.  Do not scrub the outside of the container as it can scratch the matte finish.

  • If wax remains, use a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol to remove any remnants.

  • The container can be repurposed to hold pens, make up brushes - be creative!

  • The tin containers are made of seamless aluminum so they are recyclable.

FARRAH

Farrah was a beautiful, shepherd mix

with amazing copper color hair. She loved being outside, getting her belly tickled and barking at UPS when they delivered packages to our house (which seems to be a lot).

She passed in December 2022 and we miss her everyday.

I'm a very handsome Australian Labradoodle with golden wavy hair.

My family thinks I look like a teddy bear or a muppet. I love playing fetch with my favorite green spinner and getting special treats.
